In Spain, it has been reported that Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Chelsea are pursuing Jose Maria Gimenez of Atletico Madrid.

Gimenez has been with the Spanish giants for nearly a decade, having joined in the summer of 2013.

His time at Real Madrid has been marred by injuries, but he remains an important member of coach Diego Simeone's squad.

He was injured again last season, although he still managed to play 23 games in La Liga and seven in the Champions League.

Gimenez's excellent performances at the back have piqued the interest of the Premier League, and he could be on the move this summer.

According to Spanish radio station COPE, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Chelsea are all interested in Gimenez.

Atletico Madrid is currently experiencing wage budget challenges and may turn to outgoings as a means of earning cash.

Gimenez's contract with the Spanish club was extended only last year until the summer of 2025.
